Pagsanjan is Laguna Province’s most famous town. Many visitors come to ascend the Pagsanjan River as it flows through a lovely canyon from Magdapio Falls. Here you may change to a raft and go under the powerful falls. Expect to get soaked. Then everybody shoots the rapids on the way back downstream. The two-hour journey from manila is memorable itself as it passes through typical towns and plantations of rice, coconut and sugar.

The highlight of the tour is the boat ride in a dug out canoe up the river, amidst rising gorges and step canyons covered with lush tropical vegetation, to a large waterfall and the thrill of a lifetime experience of “shooting the rapids”.
