Mabuhay is a celebration of life, joy, hospitality, and making people feel truly welcome — values that are at the heart of everything we do.
My name is Liezel Castillo, and I created Mabuhay Vacations from my love of travel and my passion for sharing meaningful experiences with others. As a Filipino, I have always been drawn to the beauty of places that bring people together — where nature, food, culture, and connection create memories that last a lifetime.
As I explored more of the United States, I fell in love with the incredible variety it offers: vibrant cities, breathtaking coastlines, peaceful beaches, mountain escapes, redwood forests, scenic drives, hidden gems, and unforgettable food and hospitality. From iconic destinations to quieter places off the beaten path, I saw how travel here could feel both exciting and deeply personal.
What touched me most was how often those experiences reminded me of what I love about the Philippines — the warmth of the people, the beauty of the ocean, the joy of gathering, and the feeling of being welcomed. That sense of familiarity inspired me to create a travel company that brings those same values into every journey.
That is why I started Mabuhay Vacations: to create thoughtfully planned travel experiences across the U.S. that feel seamless, memorable, and full of heart. We want our clients to do more than visit a destination — we want them to truly experience it.
